How Does it Work?

• The appropriate Scrip Center negotiates and purchases large quantities of Scrip at a discount from merchants nationwide.
• Nonprofit organizations like the ABYA purchase the Scrip from the appropriate Scrip Center and receive most of the discount they have negotiated with merchants.
• Our membership use the Scrip they have purchased through our organization’s Scrip Program to pay for the services and products that you would buy for your daily needs anyways.
• To support our organization, the membership purchases the Scrip through our organization’s Scrip Program at face value. Our organization keeps the difference between the discounted price and face value of the Scrip, which helps our organization raise the much needed funds to support its cause, programs, or projects.

What Do I Have to Do?

• ABYA does most of the work for you!  We'll purchase what you need when you place your order.
• You'll need to review and complete the ABYA Scrip Enrollment Form to register yourself and provide your Member Club affiliation.
• You'll need to review and complete the ABYA Scrip Order Form to select the desired Scrip product.
• You'll need to forward a check to the Scrip Coordinator for the balance of Scrip Products.  Your check must be received before any order can be processed.
• You may also join our Scrip Program via the internet @  http://www.shopwithscrip.com.  Reference the ABYA Scrip Program Card for the appropriate enrollment code.
• Once you are enrolled, you can purchase our highly discounted gift cards and gift certificates, sell them to your friends and family at full price, and the ABYA keep the profits. The ABYA will raise the funds it needs, and our members will enjoy the opportunity to show their support, simply by using Scrip instead of cash to buy the products and services they need and buy anyway.
• Merchants like to participate in Scrip Programs too because they help them support their communities effectively and continuously.
• It is a win-win arrangement for everyone.
